Brochure Design

Fake News

This brochure was created with the intent of informing readers of the dangers of fake news. I decided to target the brochure to an older demographic as research showed they were much more likely to fall victims of “fake news.” In the brochure I included the following:

  • Information about what fake news was, and how and why it was spread.

  • Things to look out for: news sources, language, satire, and url’s.

  • A story of someone from the target demographic to express empathy.

  • Statistics to help readers not only understand the seriousness of the issue, but to help them understand they were not alone if they had fallen for fake new.

Writing & Communication Program

The second brochure was created for CMU’s newly formed Writing & Communication Program. It was designed to educate students, parents, and faculty alike on the different classes, and benefits of the program.
