Fake News
This brochure was created with the intent of informing readers of the dangers of fake news. I decided to target the brochure to an older demographic as research showed they were much more likely to fall victims of “fake news.” In the brochure I included the following:
Information about what fake news was, and how and why it was spread.
Things to look out for: news sources, language, satire, and url’s.
A story of someone from the target demographic to express empathy.
Statistics to help readers not only understand the seriousness of the issue, but to help them understand they were not alone if they had fallen for fake new.
Writing & Communication Program
The second brochure was created for CMU’s newly formed Writing & Communication Program. It was designed to educate students, parents, and faculty alike on the different classes, and benefits of the program.
